All flights arranged through HELO are operated by FAA-certified Part 135 air carriers that have been independently vetted by our team. This distinction is important: it means we can source the best operator and aircraft for each trip without being limited to a single fleet.

Operator Vetting
Our Five-Point Vetting Process
Before any operator joins our network, they must pass a rigorous evaluation covering certification, safety history, crew qualifications, maintenance standards, and insurance coverage.
FAA Certification
Every operator in our network holds an active FAA Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate, the federal standard for on-demand charter operations.
Third-Party Audits
We prioritize operators with ARGUS Platinum or Gold ratings and Wyvern Wingman certification, the two most respected third-party safety audit programs in private aviation.
Crew Standards
Pilots operating flights sourced through HELO must meet minimum experience thresholds and maintain current training records that exceed FAA minimums.
Maintenance Records
All aircraft in our network undergo regular inspections and are maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications and FAA directives.
Insurance Verification
We verify that each operator carries liability insurance coverage that meets or exceeds industry standards for charter operations.

FAA Part 135
All flights sourced through HELO are operated by carriers holding an FAA Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate, the federal authorization required for commercial on-demand operations.
Insurance
Comprehensive Coverage
All operators in our network maintain liability insurance coverage that meets or exceeds industry standards. Insurance certificates are verified as part of our vetting process and monitored for currency.
Maintenance
Rigorous Standards
